Hello Everyone!
Today was a very active day at PiPi International School. We had an unusually large amount of students here today. Fortunately, the staff was in full force and ready for the day.
Today's focus was the upcoming holiday of Easter. (April 1st) The egg is one of the primary images of Easter. We hid some construction paper eggs around the room, and read a story about Easter eggs. The children had to search the room for the eggs. This will prepare them for the actual Easter Egg hunt we will have at the beginning of April.
The children found all the eggs, then discovered the surprise inside. There was a chocolate rabbit inside each of the eggs!
We enjoyed some songs and dance after the morning circle. The flashcard session was very energetic. There was a heavy emphasis on phonics and color identification.
We continued the discussion about eggs during story-time. We talked about how eggs are decorated during Easter. We then decorated eggs for our craft. The children enjoyed drawing on their paper eggs with crayon. No two eggs looked alike. The eggs are now proudly on display in PiPi's front window. The eggs are sitting in their baskets.
Today was bread day. The children enjoyed bread during lunch. There was a tie between marmalade and chocolate for the most popular spread.
The children finished their workbooks and then enjoyed some playtime. Clay was a very popular choice today, as well as the magnetic shapes. A few of the kids are still in pirate mode, and enjoyed dressing up as pirates.

Hello Everyone!
I am happy to report that today was another fine day at PiPi International School. It was a busy day, but we had a lot of fun. We started the day by reviewing shapes. The children were able to identify shapes, and even draw them on the blackboard. Each child had a chance to identify a magnetic shape and place it with the associated drawing on the board.
We enjoyed a stimulated dance session with some of our favorite English tracks.
We practiced some phonics with my favorite alphabet book. A few of the children showcased their ability to recite the alphabet. The children identified objects on the flashcards that had certain features, such as; which objects on the cards in the series had a door.
At story time, we read a book about scary animals and a book about a secret birthday message. We made a present at craft time. The children had to draw a gift inside of a box. They topped the present with a ribbon and a bow.
We enjoyed some birthday cake after lunch. We celebrated three birthdays today.
After lunch the children had a good workbook session. We enjoyed some time with the big blocks as well. A pirate even made an appearance!

Hello Everyone!
Today was a wild and crazy day at PiPi International School. We had a good mix of strong personalities from the children today. We started the day with an exercise to improve their memory and identification of the alphabet. The kids also had a chance to use their fine motor skills. Each child was provided a different piece of the Alphabet Train puzzle. We started at the engine and built the entire train starting from the letter A.
After the excercise we enjoyed some song and dance time. The kids especially liked the "Wheels on the Bus" song. They pretended to be buses and drove around the room.
We also had a fun session of "Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes".
The kids enjoyed a story and then prepared for some outdoor activity.
The children enjoyed going outside and playing in PiPi's backyard. The temperature was warm and the kids were wearing their snow gear.
The kids had fun with sleds and shovels. The kids had a lot of fun playing in their snow fort!

Hello Everyone!
Greetings from PiPi International School.
Today was another great day. The children were unusually well behaved today. We started the moring circle by sharing a secret with each other. The secret was, "good morning". Each student had to whisper "good morning" to the student next to them.
Next we showed the children 3 objects. We placed the objects in the window sill and then covered them with a blanket. We made a change, and the kids had to guess what changed. We reviewed words such as; missing, returned, and upside down.
We spent a little bit of the moring by letting each child talk infront of their peers. Most of the children had a speech to practice, and the ones without a speech were given a line to say based on their skill level. Everyone did a great job.
We conducted a short flashcard session. We concentrated on number identification and phonics. Then, we read a story about different occupations. We asked what the kids want to be when they grow up. Doctor was a popular choice. Finally, we enjoyed craft time to end the morning.
Each child made a face. We identified different parts of the face, such as; eyes, ears, mouth, and nose.
After lunch we had a good workbook session. The children who are in the Happyokai play had a chance to practice their lines upstairs, while the other kids enjoyed some brain stimulating activities.

Hello Everyone!
Today was another fantastic day at PiPi International School. The main focus of the day was to have a rehersal for the Happyokai play.
The kids started the day by making a prop for the performance. They made a map with construction paper and crayons. We talked about a map's intended use and what kind of details are on a map. The kids helped draw the PiPi school house, a road, and the PiPi bus.
After the morning excercise, we went upstairs and conducted the rehersal. We used the map that the children created.
Everyone participated, regardless of wether they will attend Happyokai. Everyone had fun, and it is nice to see the kids progress.
We also practiced one of the songs for the performance.
We finished the practice and continued our daily lessons. The children had great participation in a phonics exercise. They were able to copy the sounds of a native speaker!
They enjoyed a book before lunch, and even had a bit of time for a few dance songs.
After lunch we worked on workbooks and build various object from the different blocks.

Hello Everyone!
Today was a busy day at PiPi International School. We started the day with a science experiment. We showed the students a bowl filled with solid ice. We reviewed concepts such as hot and cold, and soft and hard. The students were told that a famous cartoon bad guys had done something bad. The students discovered that there was something frozen in the ice. They had to melt the ice to find out what was inside.
We ran hot water over the ice and melted the ice. Something was visible, but not completely uncovered. The students made guesses as to what the object was.
We finally melted all the ice and discovered that a beloved cartoon caracter was frozen in the ice. They were happy that they saved the character. They told the bad guy to be nice!
We had a very good dance session in the morning as well.
After a spirited flashcard review, we sang some songs in preparation of the Happyokai day.
We were able to read a couple of stories today. One of the stories focused on sharing. Today's craft was a penguin. The students had to use finger glue to attach a head, eyes, a beak, wings, and a tummy.
After lunch, we practiced the play. The kids had lots of fun, and made some good improvements.
We had a short period of outdoor play and then went home.

Hello Everyone!
Today was a productive day of learning at Pipi International School. We started the day off as usual, with a warm greeting and a brain stimulating activity. We played a game that helped the children practice saying colors. They each had to select a card and identify different color turtle shells.
This activity was followed by a fun round of songs that we could dance to while using English.
The children had a robust flashcard session. They all had to actively engage in the mini activities. Colors and objects were a big focus. The kids reviewed the concept of "on" and "under" by placing an object on and under different objects.
During the story time, we read a story about cooking and practiced our phonics.
The children made a snow owl at craft time. The kids identified different parts of an owl, such as: eyes, ears, body, head, and wings. The kids assembled the birds to the best of their abilities and decorated them with crayons. There were no two birds that looked the same!
After lunch we practiced our workbooks and enjoyed stimulated play. Puzzles were built, as well as houses and train tracks. We even had some practices with letters on the blackboard.
We had lots of fun with our friends!

Hello everyone!
Today was another fun day at Pipi International School. We started today's morning circle by having the kids introduce themselves, and say hello. Happyokai is coming up fast, so we want the kids to be as ready as possible to speak infront of others. We were very pleased with the great English pronunciation by all the kids.
After we put the microphone away, we had all the kids help fix the alphabet. I "accidentally" dropped all the letters on the ground, and the children helped pick up the letters and put them in order on the blackboard. The kids identified each letter and words that start with each letter.
The kids were very excited for today's craft. We read a story about pants with different designs, colors and patterns.
Each child selected either a yellow, pink or blue pair of pants. They decorated them with crayons and added border stripes if they wanted. There were some pretty good designs. After we finished, we hung up the pants on a clothes-line.
The kids enjoyed a 4D version of the "Three Little Pigs" story. I have never heard so many kids being that quiet at one time!
We had a very good workbook session in the afternoon. The kids built houses out of blocks and pu together puzzles. We were even able to go play outside before the end of the day. The kids ejoyed all the snow that we have received.
